Restoration is the core business of BLISS. We dedicate ourselves to this topic with a lot of passion and patience. Every piece of furniture, home accessory and lamp is first analyzed before a decision is made on what work to do on it. Each piece tells a story that should be preserved.

At the same time, defects are to be repaired and the “old shine” restored. In our eyes, damaged paintwork, rust, jammed parts and the like are not patina, but damage that needs to be repaired without impairing the appearance of the object. We distinguish between CONSERVATION (preserving, preventing further damage), RESTORATION (retouching, refreshing) and RECONSTRUCTION (reproducing and replacing defective parts/paints). Originality is important to us. We pull out all the stops to find spare parts and materials that match the original piece. We are also happy to restore on commission.

Overhauls are almost always necessary for old appliances and audio devices. Original or replacement parts are used that fit the “patient” exactly. We search the world for the right pieces. We guarantee that all work will be carried out professionally. The results can be seen and heard.
Devices with an amplifier are equipped with a MiniJack connection (for smartphones, etc.) and a DAB+/Internet radio solution on request.

All restoration and revision work is carried out to Swiss quality standards in our own workshop or by our trusted partners.

Cleaning / care:

Machine deep cleaning of textiles:
BLISS cleans the textile covers with mechanical dry and wet vacuuming. The original covers are retained and become hygienically clean.

Machine deep cleaning of records:
Record grooves become dirty through contact and attract dirt (static charge). The fine phono needle tip does not miss this. Have your favorite records cleaned at BLISS for long, crystal-clear listening pleasure.
