BLISS modern antiques GmbH (hereinafter referred to as BLISS) is a store for restored everyday design and design by well-known greats from the 50s and 60s. BLISS offers services in the areas of sales, restoration, revision and interior design. Visits to the BLISS showroom at Toblerplatz 5 in Zurich are possible by appointment. The BLISS main store is located at Ankerstrasse 3, 8004 in Zurich – see LOCATIONS/OPENING HOURS.

Packaging flat rate incl. Handling:
All objects are carefully and securely packed. Depending on the size of the item or the quantity of packaging material, the flat-rate packaging fee is CHF 5.50, CHF 10.50 or CHF 21.50.
Forwarding:
Transports for very large objects can also be carried out by forwarding/courier. This can be organized by the buyer or by BLISS.
Shipping/delivery abroad:
Please enquire about shipping costs for shipments abroad (from CHF 38.00).
Larger items can be collected or delivered by a forwarding agent by arrangement. Particularly favorable conditions are available to Germany.
Conclusion of the contract:
The presentation of the BLISS product range on bliss-shop.ch does not constitute an offer to conclude a purchase contract with the customer. It is non-binding.
By placing an order with BLISS via the Internet, e-mail, telephone or other communication channels, the customer submits an offer to conclude a purchase contract with BLISS. The customer receives a confirmation of receipt of the order (order receipt confirmation). This confirmation does not constitute acceptance of the offer, but is only intended to inform the customer that the order has been received by BLISS.
The contract with BLISS is concluded when BLISS accepts this offer by sending the ordered product to the customer or by notifying the customer of the conclusion of the purchase by e-mail (availability/invoice e-mail). Before acceptance by BLISS, the customer has the right to change or cancel his order (see the corresponding selection in the contact form).
If BLISS cannot accept the customer’s offer, the customer will be informed of the unavailability or rejection of the order instead of accepting the order. BLISS shall inform the customer separately of any possible errors in the information on the product range on the website and submit a corresponding counter-offer.
Price fluctuations are possible. The price stated by BLISS at the time the offer is submitted (see 3rd paragraph “Conclusion of the contract”) shall be decisive.
Prices:
The object prices are calculated on the basis of the costs for purchasing, transportation/import, storage as well as restoration and refurbishment costs. Prices for Switzerland also include the applicable statutory VAT.
Right of return / money-back guarantee:
BLISS sells vintage rarities that have been used appropriately. Signs of ageing are therefore not only normal, but often desirable. Nevertheless – if you order online and discover defects in the delivered goods that you did not notice before – you can return the goods to us within 7 days of receipt. You will be refunded the purchase price (excluding shipping costs). Returns will only be accepted if they have been sufficiently stamped. The return deadline is deemed to have been met if the goods are dispatched within the deadline (postal receipt).
Goods that are viewed and purchased on site do not have a money-back guarantee. Nevertheless, we want you to be happy with your BLISS purchases. Contact us if you have any problems and we will find a solution.
Transfer of risk:
BLISS accepts no liability for delays or damage to goods deliveries caused by the shipping service provider. The risk is transferred to the buyer when the goods are dispatched.
Defects:
BLISS clearly points out that the restored objects date from the 1950s and 1960s and had previous owners. If defects are found which go beyond age-related signs of use, we must be notified of these in writing within 7 days, otherwise the right to return online orders shall lapse.
Retention of title:
BLISS retains title to the goods until all payments arising from the purchase contract have been received. The customer must inform BLISS immediately in writing of all access by third parties, in particular of enforcement measures and other impairments of its property. The customer shall compensate BLISS for all damages and costs arising from a breach of this obligation and from necessary intervention measures against access by third parties.
If the customer acts in breach of contract, in particular if the customer does not meet his payment obligation despite a reminder from BLISS, BLISS may withdraw from the contract after setting a reasonable deadline and demand the return of the goods still in its ownership. The taking back of the goods or seizure by BLISS shall constitute a withdrawal from the contract. The customer shall bear the shipping costs incurred. BLISS is authorized to dispose of the goods once they have been returned.
BLISS reserves the right not to enter into a contract if the result of a credit check is negative.
Customs duties, VAT:
When importing goods into countries outside of Switzerland, import duties may be incurred, which must be borne by the customer. These vary in different customs territories. The customer is responsible for the proper payment of the necessary customs duties and fees. Import duties are not shipping costs.
For deliveries within Switzerland, the price shown includes the applicable statutory VAT. For exports to other countries, the price shown is the net price excluding VAT.
Data protection:
The data required for business processing is stored in strict compliance with the applicable legal provisions and is only passed on to other companies for order processing. All personal data will be treated confidentially. BLISS is entitled to transmit the personal data to companies affiliated with BLISS for the purpose of credit checks and creditworthiness monitoring as part of a data exchange.

Final provisions:
The provisions of substantive Swiss law shall apply to the exclusion of the Vienna Sales Convention. If the customer is a merchant, Zurich shall be the exclusive place of jurisdiction for all claims in connection with the business relationship. Otherwise, the place of jurisdiction shall be determined in accordance with Art. 32 of the Swiss Code of Civil Procedure.

PayPal payments :
Paypal is accepted by BLISS as a means of payment. The buyer pays an additional fee of 5% of the sales price (Paypal fee) to BLISS.
