– Automatic & manual record player GARRARD 50 Mk II (Made in Swindon, England) in full metal housing with electronically controlled friction wheel drive
– Special tonearm for record changer operation (up to six records are played automatically one after the other)
– 3 centering axles: standard axle, changer axle for LPs & the rare changer axle for singles
– Original headshell for vinyl & shellac
– new sapphire needle for vinyl LPs & singles, Made in Switzerland
– 4 speeds 16, 33, 45 and 78 rpm for shellac
– connections for 4 speakers (2 front, 2 back > quadrophonic)
– separate bass & treble control for left & right speakers
– AUX input with adapter for mini jack connection 3.5mm (e.g. smartphone)

This is a very stylish piece of hi-fi history from the 60s. The Reader’s Digest Stereo 2003 with the Garrard 50 Mk II turntable was not a cheap toy back then, but a serious system for music lovers who appreciated the convenience of a record changer. A rare collector’s item in very good, restored and refurbished condition!
