Info: While the manufacturer H. Miller launched the lounge chair by Charles Eames on the market, PLYCRAFT launched the armchairs by GEORGE MULHAUSER as a competing product in the 1950s. While the Eames Lounge Chair is still in production today and thousands of copies are available on the furniture market, Mulhauser’s armchairs have become rarities and are traded at top prices at international auctions. Mulhauser armchairs are hard to find in Europe.
